=About the work=
The deep oceans are still filled with undiscovered and poorly understood mysteries, and I imagined that perhaps it also served as a burial ground for ocean life.
This character glares toward the land where they once dwelled from the dark depths of the ocean where the sun does not reach, hinting at the strong will and some unknown purpose residing inside.
His body is already decaying, his bones bare and exposed, which I chose to express using scatterings of light reflective materials.
The dim sparkling light helps to highlight his strong will as he resolutely faces what awaits although he is in a place so close to death.
