As a joint project, we will hold an art event during the Frieze Art Fair Week in May 2016.

"FUSION East West 2016" in NY
during Frieze Art Fair Week 2016
[Recruitment of 2016 Art Event Participants]
New York Art Wave (NYAW), which connects the art scenes of New York and Japan, will hold an art fair event "FUSION NEW YORK 2016" related to Armory Art Fair Week in March 2016. This art project will be held in collaboration with the West Harlem Art Fund, a public art organization officially recognized by the City of New York, which is based in the jazz city of Harlem and is engaged in art promotion activities. As it is called "FUSION", art, music, fashion, New York and Japan, different cultures and different fields are gathered in one place, and synergistic action stimulates free ideas and inspiration, and is comprehensive. The main purpose is to create and revitalize the art scene.
The works of creators and musicians who are active in the art and culture scene in New York and the works of up-and-coming artists who are active in Japan will be gathered together to hold a gorgeous and powerful art festival in the city of Harlem.

2. Since the exhibition focuses on the artist's self-promotion beyond the purpose of sale, we will flexibly respond to the size and material, but the artist will bear all the transportation costs for the work incurred between Japan and NY. It becomes. We will make a selection after submitting information such as photos, vertical and horizontal sizes, weights, materials, etc. of the desired exhibited works.
